Posted November 07, 2018 09:12:53 In a statement, the Department of Correction said: “Michigan State Police will continue to work closely with our partners across the state to protect public safety.”
It added: “The State Police and MIAMI-DADE COUNTY POLICE have been working together since last fall, as we continue to address the escalating threats to public safety.
We have continued to work with law enforcement agencies throughout the state, including the Michigan State Police, the Michigan Department for Law Enforcement, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Department for the Criminal Justice Assistance Program to identify and disrupt violent crime.”
This is not a new strategy and the Michigan Police Department is committed to working closely with the Michigan Legislature to enact additional reforms to address issues of violence against women and children.
“State Police will be providing additional resources and resources to law enforcement partners across Michigan in the coming days to address violent crime, including to the MIAMI DADE COUNTY PENALTY CENTER and MIACHINA STATE UNIVERSITY.”
