It was a Friday evening and James Larkin was a regular visitor at the park on the edge of Muskegon County, Michigan.
A member of the community he knew as Mr. Green was in need of a new wheelchair.
The man had lost his leg in a car accident a few years earlier, and had not yet recovered enough to be able to walk again.
He was in a wheelchair and needed to get a new one.
The park was the perfect place for the rehabilitation of an old friend, said Larkin, as he walked up to the fence where the man’s wheelchair was waiting.
Mr Green was sitting down with a friend, he said, when Larkin walked up and offered to buy him his new wheelchair, as long as he paid for it himself.
Larkin bought the wheelchair for $1,000 and gave it to the man, who was able to get the new wheelchair at a local hardware store. “
Larkin told the Associated Press news agency.

The next day, Larkin received an email from the man asking if he could borrow the wheelchair.
Lacey was in the wheelchair as well, and the pair started taking walks together.
“The fact that he is doing so well, I think is a positive thing. “
He is doing well,” Lisa Larkin said.

This is a tragic event. “
This is a very sad and sad event.
This is a tragic event.
I am thankful that he was able [to come to the park] with his friend.”
Jeff Larkson, a former business manager and father of the family, said James Larksin is “doing well.”
“He’s doing very well,” Larksons mother said.
The Larksins are grateful for the outpouring of support, and are happy that the new friend has been able to share his story with the world.
“We are so grateful for his efforts,” Lisa said.
Larks on the way back from a visit to the local store, where James bought his new chair, Lisa Larksman, said they are grateful the wheelchair helped James Larch, who is battling lung cancer.
The father of two said the wheelchair has been an asset to James and his family.
Larch has been on a ventilator since the accident, but said it is not the most comfortable place to be.
Lanchin said he will continue to take the walk with his wheelchair, but he is not going to be in the park any more.
“That’s all I’ll be doing,” Lanchins father said.
James Lanchi is still recovering from the accident.
The family has set up a GoFundMe page to help pay for the wheelchair and a new leg.
Lachar, the local news outlet, reported that Larkin is in good spirits.
“Larkin is doing great, he’s just in pain,” Lachary said.
A GoFundme page has also been set up for Lanchar.
